The high points in this conducting journey? Hard to choose…my favorite work has to be whatever composition, Renaissance to present, that I’m deep into studying at any given moment. Then there’s the constant, day-to-day and week-to-week experience of guiding and molding groups of musicians toward a vision of what they can achieve that they haven’t previously; that is its own high point.
