The Choral Art Society of Portland, Maine announces that Ellen Gilson Voth is the winner of their 2014 inaugural New England Carol Contest. Her composition, “The bells I heard”, based on a text of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, will be premiered at their December concerts.
